Show PASSING OF I'KICI) M ACK EliELL Day is done and night is fallen, for Fred Mackerell. Into the great beyond he has carried car-ried that wonderful smile and a voice of such infinite tenderness that it will not be hard to pick him from among the group of angels inhabiting that unknown shore. After months of untold suffering, borne with a quiet, meek fortitude, this "unforgetalile" friend to man, slipped away into eternity Wednesday Wednes-day night, February 27. In spite of all that medical skill could do, it was evidently his time to go, but hosts of friends to whom he had endeared himself in life, will forever mis him. Beautiful and impressive services were held Saturday aftemon at the chapel under the auspices of the I. 0. 0. F. lodge of which he was a charter member, having joined when it was organized in Beaver, December 20, 1902. He was the last surviving charter char-ter member. A profusion of beautiful floral offerings of-ferings were silent reminders of the manv friends who will miss him. j i |
