Show V V V V DIXIE TRIBE MOURNS DEATH OF MEMBER Amid the lamentations of relatives and with full tribal rites, the body of Bullock Smoke was lowered to its final resting place in the little graveyard grave-yard on the Shivwits reservation at sundown Monday. JSuIlock died in Las Vegas last Friday Fri-day night and the body was brought here Saturday for burial. He was 32 years of age, and a son of Little Jim Smoke. He was well known and liked, not only among his own people, but the whites as well. From what can be learned the Indian In-dian met death in a drunken brawl. His face was smashed almost beyond recognition and there were several bad bruises on his chest. Details of the affair have not been learned, other than the fact that he was visited visit-ed by another Indian on the night of his death and it is said much whiskey whis-key was consumed. This much has been brought out by questioning Bullock's Bul-lock's family. Bullock had been in Las Vegas for some time with his wife and stepdaughter, step-daughter, and had a contract for clearing land belonging to a Japanese, Japa-nese, Billy Y. Tonyama. New, St. George.
