The adult Bible class monthly meeting meet-ing will be held on Thursday of this week instead of Friday of next week. Christian Science "Soul" is the subject of the lesson-sermon lesson-sermon Sunday, February 15, in all branches of the Mother Church, The First Church of Christ Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts. The citations include the following passage from the Bible: "O bless our God, ye people, and make the voice of his praise to be heard: which holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be moved" (Palms GG:8,9). The following correlative passage is also included from the Christian Science Textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," by Mary Baker Eddy: "If life or Soul and its representative, man, unite for a period and then are separated as by a law of divorce to be brought together to-gether again at some uncertain future time and in a manner unknown, and this is the general religious opinion of mankind, we are left without a rational ra-tional proof of immorality. But man cannot be separated for an instant from God, if man reflects God. Thus Science proves man's existence to be intact." (P-306). i I |
