Show LIONS START THE NEW FISCAL YEAR CLAY TO DIRECT CLUB ACTIVITIES L. C. Clay took the helm of the Milford Mil-ford Lions Club last Wednesday, relieving re-lieving Jos. R. Murdock of the responsibilities respon-sibilities of the presidency for the ensuing en-suing year. The regular luncheon was held at the Milford Hotel. Little of importance impor-tance came before the attention of the club at this meeting, with the exception ex-ception of a resume of the paving situation by George Jefferson. Work on a few committees was re-appointed by President Clay, Murdock being be-ing appointed to the Roads committee, and Chanslor to the Aviation committee. com-mittee. Guests of the club were W. L. Forr, Chief Assistant Attorney-General and Harold Cline, brother of Sam and Al Cline of this city. |
