Show WILLOW SPRING CANAL j The Willow Spring Canal company of Bluebell, has filed appicatlon with the state engineer for the use of 250 acre feet of water from each of two unnamed lakes in Duchesne county. In each case it is planned to tap these natural reservoirs, five feet below the surface, by an 18-inch pipe, and to construct a dam at their outlets out-lets so as to raise the level of the water five feet. The water wil How clcwr the west 9 fork of Dry gulch, fifteen and sixteen six-teen miles, respectively, and will then be diverted Into the company's! canal system as a' supplementary I supply to be used in irrigating 480 acres. |
