Reviewing twenty-five years of "trust" prosecutions and ot Interpretations by the federal courts or the Sherman anti-trust law, officials of the department of Justice have reached the conclusion that the ultimate ulti-mate usefulness of that statute to regulate reg-ulate business would be determined by the United States supreme court probably within the next few months. A long series of victories for the government, for the most part in the enforcement of the civil side of the ai t, lias been rolloyied in the last few months by several defeats both in minor courts and in the supreme court. So far as the civil section of ithe law is concerned, the government looks upon the suit to dissolve the International Harvester company as 'of the utmost Importance. This case is now In the hands of the supreme court.
