Show Hold e ii Happenings Mr- Stork visited the home of Wm. Johnson June 1st leaving a baby boy. All concerned doing nicely. A number of young people attended at-tended the High School Commencement Com-mencement at Fillmore. A very creditable program was rendered by the graduates. The dance in the evening was well attended. Misses Amanda Stephensen, Mercy Stephensen, Clara Stephens Steph-ens and Erma Turner have gone to Salt Lake City to take a two months course at the Keister Tailoring College. Fourteen young people have gone to Salt Lake City to attend the June conference. Miss Bertella Allred, of Manti, who has been visiting her sister, Mrs. Delia Hunter, returned home Thursday. Last Thursday while out drive-ing, drive-ing, Mrs. Lorena Stephensen had a very narrow escape from death The horse became unmanageable and after putting her children out at the gate she attempted to drive to the corral. The horse began to run, turned the corner and threw Mrs. Stephensen out, cutting quite a gash in her head. At present she is reported recovering. recov-ering. 4 The Narcissus Bee Hive Swarm were entertained by Miss Lula Johnson and Mrs. Fay Wood, at Mrs. Wood's home, Friday, June 11th. We believe that much good can be gained thro the Bee Hive movement. George Nixon, Jr., has bought a Dodge car. Supt. and Mrs. Lars Jenson and Assistant Supt. Brunson held Ward Sunday School conference con-ference here June 13th. Elmer Stringham has gone to Duchesne Co. to look over the land with a view of buying if it suits him, to make his future home. |
