Crop-per. During the exercises one ol the strikingly true features was the promotion program, the sen iors advancing from their studj seats to the rostrum and the un dergraduate classes each advancing advanc-ing to their new positions, dowr to the eighth grade class of thf district school stepping out ol that position and taking its place as a freshman class. The prr ceedure was very real and dem onstrated the forcefulness of th( onward march of the student to ward the goal of those who hav gone before. The three-days hike to Oal-Creek Oal-Creek proved very gratifying a; to attendance. About twenty five citizei s joined the seventy five students who enjoyed th outing and a delightful time wa; enjoyed by the "hikers." Oik of the distinguished guests or the trip was Prof. Smart, wh( interested the "hikers" in thf mysteries of botany. |
