Show 0. L. Lake, our local real estate dealer reports a number of sales recently. Payne Franklin says he can trip the light fantastic much easier than he used to. E. H. Biehler and family are moving this week to their farm west of Abrahrm. A Mr- Hall will occupy the residence made vacant by them. Mrs. Laura Petty is here visiting visit-ing her mother, Mrs. Wilcketi. . Seventeen cars of hay have recently been shipped from the Abraham switch on the spur line, ranging in price from $14 to $18 per ton. The Needle Craft Club met last week with Mrs Ora Lake. All report a very interesting meeting. The Abraham and Sugarville Base Ball teams are contending for supremacy. Both teams are playing good ball. Come out and encourage the boys in their sport. Abraham Articles Mrs. Job Riding has been very ill the past week. Miss Ida Orr, the hello girl at Delta, spent Sunday with home folks. The Farm Bureau Organization had quite a successful meeting Friday night. Everybody come and help the good work along. Mrs. Zola Soules is on the sick list. Mrs. Ilattie Forsythe of Salt Lake, is visiting at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. O. M. Fullmer, The Jolly Stitchers met with Mrs. C. M. Hickman, last week. William Fullmer, who was sick last week with pneumonia, is much improved at this writing. writ-ing. The Hummer Dramatic Co. of Woodrow, presented , the play "Civil Service" to a large audience audi-ence Thursday night. The play was a grand success with not a trace of the ametaur in sight. Come again, Woodrow. Quite a number from Abraham attended preaching services at Sunflower on Sunday. |
