Show Carey Act Patents A special from Washington relative to the issuing of patent pat-ent to Delta Land and .Water Co. lands says: "A three-days' hearing was completed today in the general land office upon the application of the Delta Canal Construction company for patents to 33,400 acres of land included in the Delta Del-ta Cary act irrigation project. Frank Evans of Salt Lake City appeared for the settlers on the project, Fred Stegmyer and Geo. A.. Snow represented the construction con-struction company and State Engineer W. H. Beers and State Land Commissioner W. D. Cand-land Cand-land represented the state of Utah. At the conclusion of the hearing hear-ing the commissioner of the land office decided that patents would be issued for the land upon the compliance by the construction company with the following requirements: re-quirements: Submission of an abstract of title to the water rights for the projects; Evidence by the state of changes in the diversion of water so that settlers may get full benefits. Deeding- by the construction company of its interests in-terests to the settlers under the canal. Filing articles of incorporation in-corporation of the construction company, amended to suit the settlers. Satfs factory arrangements arrange-ments between the canal com-pany'and com-pany'and three other irrigation companies interested in the project. pro-ject.
