The Dandy Dixie Minstrel show which played at the Delta Opera house last Sunday evening was far above the average colored minstrels and was greeted by a good house. Peterson and son Harry and daughter Vivian stopped stop-ped off in Delta last Tuesday en-route en-route to their home in Scipio from California, where they .visited .vis-ited two of Mrs. Peterson's sisters sis-ters and took in the fairs. Mrs. Peterson reports a pleasant visit and some grand sights to be seen it the fairs. The Delta Co. is building a road across their South Side tract to connect the road that now runs from Delta to Oasis with the new Delta-Fillmore road soon ; to be built. This will be a great ' convenience to the Oasis people inasmuch as it will eliminate the necessity of using the Mud lake road in order for them to get to 1 the county seat, and it will also give the South Tract people an i outlet and a good road into both Delta and Oasis and connect them with the Fillmore road.
