Turner Art exhibit, ex-hibit, which will be on exhibition at the Deseret meeting house, from Feb-ruary Feb-ruary 2Gtb at 7 p. in. and the X7th at f 3 and 7 p. in.; also at the Millard Academy at Hinckley the 28th, at 3 and 7 p. ui., and at the Ward Half at Delta March. 1st at 3 and 7 p. m. Thle exhibit comprises two hundred beautiful reproductions of the world leading subjects In painting, portraits, por-traits, architecture, sculpture, and natural nat-ural scenery, and will be loaned FOR TUB PURPOSE OF INAUGURATING " A SERIES OF PICTURE STUDIES IN ' OUR SCHOOLS AND TO RAISE FUNDS FOR SCHOOL ROOM DECO- 1 RATION. A cordial Invitation is extended to the public to attend this famous Art exhibit and a request is made of every citizen to co-operate with us la our efforts to secure beautiful pictures for the walls of our schoolrooms. Every home should become familiar with the pictures In this collection and everything will be done to explain the pictures to the understanding of those present. To this end also Art exhibit ' catalogues, Illustrated with half-tone and color, may be secured at the ex- hlblt. THE VALUE OF PICTURES IN OUR SCHOOLS. The walls of many of our school rooms present to the eyes of Uie pupils, pu-pils, and hence to their minds, only barenesa, whereas, with sul labia decoration, dec-oration, they could be made to convey a eense of comfort or cheerfulness, always al-ways conducive to better work, and to Inspire Uie thought when the eyes wander from the lesson page as they will.
