OCR Text	Show EVENTS AT OAK CITY Wednesday, the 26th, a farewell par. ty was had for Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hoper, also their son Leslie and wife. Tbey Intend to make their new home near Rlgby, Ida. Bert Roper was seen Monday with a smile that covered his entire face and when asked the cause he said he was now pa pa. The stork brought a bouncing boy, Thursday, the 27th, the young people peo-ple surprised Mr. Soren J. Rawllnson at his home. 'The occasion was his 23th birthday. Friday night a very enjoyable dance was had In our gynaslum. The Oak City athletes are already beginning to show some form and several sev-eral good records have been made. They also Intend tnAlve a good account ac-count of themselvesat the track meet. Monday afternooa the school was dismissed and all kilned In a general clean up of the telool grounds. The teachers and pupli are to be commended com-mended on their excellent work.
