Lyman told the writer that , he favored the establishment of a high school at Fillmore. He is president - ol the church school board. If be in not afraid of the competition, why should the people of Hinckley, for example, ex-ample, be afraid? He knows that both ' schools would be lilted at once, and he favors the high school because the chief effort of bis life has been to uplift up-lift the people of Utah. The Fast side needs tho school. The West side does not need It at present. And a school on the Fast side will not retard the progress of the school on the west side. |
