Show the public highway. County commissioner com-missioner Maxfield and Field Supt. McPhersno, together with our local Justice and constable, spent Monday P. M. traveling over project and warning the settlers that all such accidents will be summarily dealt with in the future, they are glad to note the enterest shown in that direction, di-rection, and hope the Rural Delivery De-livery man will not meet with the bad roads that our genial star route carrier has had to contend con-tend with. The gladsome song of the birds by day, and the call of the cuckoo and frog by night, evidence evi-dence the fact that spring is with us once more. Never have the fields looked so enticing as now on the Delta project. A bumper crop of winter wheat seems assured, while the spring grain and alfalfa are looking fine. It is reported that Mr. Roy C. Jones, Sugarville, is seriously ill. Mr. Mrs. Oren Skelton entertained enter-tained a large party of friends on the eve of their departure to Tooele where they will reside in the future. Due to pressure of other business, busi-ness, Mr. Authur Griffith our popular and efficient Road Commissioner, Com-missioner, has sent his resignation resig-nation from that office to the county clerk, Mr. and Mrs. Myers, who arrived ar-rived here from Califorina about one year ago, are rejoicing in the birth of a fine baby girl.
