Show SNAKE VALLEY NEWS. K. E. Christopherson. Chronicle Representative. Rep-resentative. Everyone and everything has taken on new life during the last few days of beautiful sunshine. Our school at Ilurbank closed on the 17th after a very successful term. Our teacher Is deserving f great credit, as some of her students completed com-pleted an entire grade In five months. Our one and only regret Is that the term was not longer. A grand ball was held on St. Patrick's Pat-rick's day. George Richardson returned from Newhouse. without his family, they being delayed on account of the washout. wash-out. Mr.. Hellnnder of Baker. Nev., was also disappointed In not meeting his family at Newhouse. S. It. Ketcham of Big Pine, Cal.. has rented his mother's ranch and stock and will soon send for his family. fam-ily. Tho price of hay Is soaring, US and 120 a ton. It has sold for 7. $10 and $12 all winter. The horse gatherers were more successful suc-cessful this trip. Ixingius In a small bunch. lieil and Osborn Christopherson are frequent visitors at their brother Frank's. I do not know which is the favored one. ! pxnct these visits will cease after the 17lh. Isiie Clay and J. F. Christopherson were up to Atlanta last week. Everything Every-thing is very quiet there. Mr. Ha mm and Mr. Eaton are hauling haul-ing hay from the valley to Atlanta. Work is still being done at Black Horse, but the mill had to close for a few days on account of lack of ore. We will be glad to see the RmcIiiI Edition of The Chronicle out, and hope It will do much for Millard county |
