Show WALLIS INDICTED. Former Pure Food Inspector of Idaho Charged With Embezzlement. Boise, Idaho. James H. Wallis, former for-mer state pure food inspector and president of the National Pure Food association, has been brought back from Utah to answer to indictments covering five counts, returned by the grand jury. Wallis was arrested in Salt Lake and returned without extradition extra-dition papers. The charges against Wallis are misappropriation mis-appropriation of public moneys, embezzlement em-bezzlement and false certification. The charge in each count, is a felony under the Idaho laws and the aggregate penalty pen-alty is thirty-five years in the penitentiary. |
