Show Sugar Factory Remains in Canada. The Knight Sugar Co., have at the last moment decided not to move their factory from Canada to Utah, and as a consequence the three counties endeavoring to induce the company to locate the factory are somewhat disappointed disap-pointed to say the leant. Millard County had held out every hope that the factory would be located here, but we are not at all discouraged realizing that it is only a matter of time till we do get a factory. We had felt certain that the Knight Sugar Co. would not overlook such a remarkably re-markably good point for a factory fac-tory although the time is not exactly ex-actly ripe for one. When we consider con-sider that the vast acreage of beet land hereabout produces a superior quality of sugar beets, there can be but little doubt but what a factory will be put in here in sufficient time to take care of the 1916 crop. Many farmers are going to plant beets this year.re-gardless year.re-gardless of our failure to land a factory, and will prove to the doubtf i ones that we have the best sugar beet producing valley in America. A sugar factory is coming this way. |
