Show Of Interesi to Hog Raisers. For the benefit of our hog raisers rais-ers on the Delta project I ask you if possible to print the following: fol-lowing: I have studied the raising, fattening and marketing of hogs to a marked degree. Have tried many different remedies remed-ies for different ails. Hog raising rais-ing is doubling, yesquadrupleing year alter year on this project. The great loss of pigs in the past few months, from White Scours, no doubt is greatly caused from improper care and feeding. I for one, firmly believe this dis- ' ease is contagious among small pigs. Out of my herd I have lost five. I sent to Salt Lake and ordered a' quantity of Laudanum and since giving this I have not lost a single pig. I gave from 3 drops to 4 teaspoon ful in a table-spoonful table-spoonful of water. Thie.dose is regulated according to size and condition of pig. If pig is already very weak, give 3 drops, repeat in 3 to 4 hours and so on for one day. Watch the pig and if it seems to want to lie down and sleep, or seems etra drowsy, wait 5 hours for tjf.'e ne:.t dose. Repeat nexV dajV scours continue. con-tinue.
