Show LYNNDYL . . . Hachel Simpson M-S Rodney Ashby. of Manti, are visiting with their daughter, Mrs. Clead Nielson. Mrs. Emma Nielson, of Leamington Leaming-ton visited with a number of friends fri-ends in Lynndyl Monday. Mrs. Jerome Ivie and Harold, Neva Harvey and son, Bart, spent Thanksgiving in Willard with M-S Harvey Talbot. M-S Clyde Coleman entertained at dinner on Thanksgiving for M-S Vernon Gronning, M-S William Coleman and Eldonna. The Guides and their leader, Florence Woodbury substituting for Callene Craddock, prepared baskets for Thanksgiving and surprised sur-prised the old people. The Primary also gave a Thanksgiving party for the children. Dancing and refreshments refresh-ments were enjoyed. Monday evening a PTA meeting was held. Many school projects were discussed. At a previous meeting meet-ing Tressa Terry was chosen as the president; Sherman Cooper, vice-president, vice-president, and Edna Haycock as secretary. A social will be held on December 11 at the school house. All are personally invited to attend. Mr. Phil Nielson was a Salt Lake visitor. M-S Vernon Gronning entertained entertain-ed at dinner Sunday for M-S Clyde Coleman and children, Merna and Jay, and M-S De Long Banks and son, Johnnie. Mrs. Myron Vest and Edith Mae were Salt Lake visitors Saturday. Mrs. Reed Larsen spent the weekend week-end in Salt Lake with Beverly, who returned with her mother and spent Sunday here. Mrs. Mae Miller and Ila Christ-ensen Christ-ensen returned from a trip to Salt Lake Wednesday. Mr. James Smith accompanied Mrs. Smith and two daughters, Margie and Annette to Salt Lake Monday after they had spent Thanksgiving with him. Mrs. Smith has been quite ill with the flu. Mrs. Joe Pargis was taken to the Delta Hospital Saturday for a general gen-eral check-up. M-S Alma Banks were made very happy over the arrival of their first granddaughter on November 27th. M-S Herbert Abeglen of Salt Lake City being the proud parents. M-S Roy Clark entertained at dinner on Thanksgiving for M-S Herbert McBride and children Mrs Hilda Clark returned from Salt Lake Sunday where she has been visiting with her daughters. Mrs. Wallace Allen met the train and visited with her nephew, Pvt. George Henderson, of Los Angeles, who is being sent to a camp in Maryland. Mrs. Allen's sister, Rachel Ra-chel Henderson lives in Los Angeles. Angel-es. Mrs. Lester Walker is visiting with her sister, Mrs. Earl Great-house. Great-house. M-S Chester Bowers and son, ' Lewis, spent a few days in Nephi visiting with relatives. Lon Farnsworth was a Lynndyl visitor at the home of M-S Fred Greathouse. The Union Pacific restaurant has a new managemens, M-S G. H. Bo-len Bo-len of Wyoming. Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Sorenson and Judy spent Thanksgiving in Salt Lake City. |
