Show Canning Sugar Ends December 1 According to the OPA no more sugar will be issued for canning purposes after December 1. The new stamps that are coming good are red stamps Q-5, R-5, S-5, which will be good on December 3. The blue stamps that will be good on and after December 1 are: X-5, Y-5, Z-5, A-2 and B-2. Dean Nielson, son of M-C Clead Nielson, of Lynndyl, telephoned his parents on Thanksgiving Day from Camp Roberts. He said he was well and happy. Kay Bishop of Hinckley, son of M-S 'Marion Bishop of Salt Lake Cily and stationed of Cnmp Robinson, Robin-son, Arknnsns, called his folks from Little Rock, Sunday. Shirl Pace came home on furlough fur-lough and spent Thanksgiving Day with his mother. He is through with his basic training and will be transferred to San Francisco. |
