Theobald Susie Alldredge Theobald Funeral services were held in Fillmore on Monday at 1 p. m. for Ernest B. and Susie Alldredge Theobald in the second ward LDS chapel, by Bishop Edward Peterson. Following the services the funeral cortege went to Hinckley, the former for-mer home of Mr. and Mrs. Theobald, Theo-bald, where they were buried in the city cemetery. Mrs. Theobald was killed in a car accident on Wednesday, Jan. 9, , and Mr. Theobald was critically injured in-jured at the same time. He died Saturday morning, Jan. 12, in the hospital at Paysbn. The accident occurred Wednesday morning on the icy highway four miles north of Mona, as Mr. and Mrs. Theobald Theo-bald were driving south. Their car skidded out of control and crashed into a truck. Mrs. Theobald was 72 years of age, born Nov. 7, 1874 at Lehi, Mr. Theobald was 78 years of age, and was born at Duncan's Retreat, July 18, 1867. They were married Nov. 23, 1892, in the Manti Temple and made their home for many years in Hinckley. They moved to Fillmore Fill-more twelve years ago, and lived there since. Mr. Theobald served 16 years as Millard county survey or. They are survived by four sons, Evan Theobald, Provo; Arthur Theobald, Beverly Hills, California; Elwyn Theobald, Long Beach, California; Cal-ifornia; Leo Theobald, Wilmar, California; and a daughter, Mrs. Dessa Cammack, Pingree, Idaho. They have 20 grandchildren. Mr. Theobald is survived by a brother, T. Geogre Theobald of Hinckley, and three sisters, Mrs. Lazett Alldredge, Mrs. Clara Talbot, Tal-bot, Oak City, and Mrs. Emma Spendlove, Hinckley. Mrs. Theobald is survived by two brothers; Isaac Alldredge, St. George; Leo Alldredge, Mesa, Arizona; Ari-zona; and three sisters, Mrs. Desy Goodwin, Logan; Mrs. Nettie Keate, Arizona; and Mrs. Jacosa Langford, Mesa, Arizona. Mr. and Mrs. Theobald were a-mong a-mong the early families in this country and their many friends regret re-gret the tragis accident that caused caus-ed their deaths. Mr. Theobald was a successful farmer, and Mrs. Theobald Theo-bald was a practical nurse. They were both diligent workers in their church. They celebrated their golden wedding on November 23, 1942, at which time this picture was taken. |
