Show SUTHERLAND . . . Tannea Sorenson Mrs. Vernon Fowles entertained at her home Tuesday evening in honor of her son, Kenneth's, birthday birth-day anniversary. Mrs. Rulon Anderson and daughter, daugh-ter, Lawana, spent a few days visiting vis-iting in Salt Lake City. Her mother Mrs" Orson U. Hyer of Lewiston. returned re-turned home with her and visited here for a week. The Seagull Girls and their leader. lead-er. Mrs. Otto Anderson entertained the girls at a party Thursday evening. eve-ning. Mrs. Armond Ogden, guide leader, and President Mary Johnson were also guests. Table games were played after which refreshments refresh-ments were srved. Mrs. E. T. Thornton left Friday for California where she will visit with her children. Avon Barney left Tuesday for Los Angeles where he will visit his brothers and mother. Mrs. Carl Theobald entertained at her home Friday evening in honor of Joyce's and Merlin's birthday birth-day anniversaries. Rex Thornton visited here with his father and sisters over the weekend. The Relief Society will sponsor i a dance here Wednesday evening i in honor of their anniversary. Re-(freshments Re-(freshments villi be served. M-S W. R. Walker received word , that their son, Roger, who has been ; in the South Pacific for some time arrived in Ogden Monday and will be here soon for a visit with his 1 parents. The entire community was shock-1 shock-1 ed to hear of the death of Joyce . Christensen Pratt, of California, a I daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence - Christensen, and extend their deep-est deep-est sympathy to the Christensen and Pratt families.
