Show LYNNDYL . . , Rachel Simoson Mrs. Mary Johnson returned from Los Angeles Mondav after spend- i ing a few days visiting both M-S Ellis Thompson and spent a night with M-S Roy Thompson and her sisler, Mrs. Effie Johnson and Ha- , zel Williams. Mrs. Rachel Simpson and Mrs. Norma Majers were Salt Lake visitors vis-itors Saturday. Mrs. Joe Klinge is visiting at the home of Mrs. Wallace Allen on her wav to Los Angeles. Also Roy , Clark. I C. E. Simpson's brothers, Jack and Ray stopped over here on their way to Milford for a short visit. Miss Gladys Banks spent Saturday Satur-day and Sunday in Salt Lake City visiting her sister, Mrs. Ruth Abe-glenn. Abe-glenn. Mr. and LaVon Wiley of Provo visited with M-S Carl Benson. M-S Dick Hayes were Salt Lake vistors Monday and Tuesday. M-S Herbert McBride and children chil-dren are spending a few days in Salt Lake. Mrs. Floyd Roundy is spending a few days visiting her sister, Mrs. Carlyle Gronning in Milford. Lynndyl Red Cross has gone over the top with $338, their quota being be-ing $315. And there is still more to come in. Miss Ila Christensen spent Sunday Sun-day in Oak City. Her cousin La Von Wiley and wife of Provo, who has been overseas for two years also visited in Oak City. He is returning re-turning to San Francisco this next week. Clead and Billie Nielson drove to Cedar City Monday, returning with Mrs. Clead Nielson and Merrill, who has undergone an operation. Neva Harvey, Glenna and Beryl Ber-yl returned home Saturday after spending a few days in Salt Lake City visiting and shopping. Mrs. Wm. Coleman has been in I Salt Lake a week preparing to get her father here for a while. Mrs. iTressa Terry drove to Salt Lake on Saturday to bring them back. Mrs. Mae Miller returned Friday , from Salt Lake after hunting an apartment. She plans on moving soon. M-S Reed Larsen entertained the - Pinochle Club Thursday evening. Mrs. Roy Clark won high score for ' ladies. Vernon Gronning high for the men. J Mrs. Mary Johnson entertained the Primary officers and teachers at her home Monday evening. They discussed business and enjoyed a light lunch. Those present were Lottie Gronning, Edna Haycock, Kate Hayes, Meona Ivie, Orlean Larsen, Ethel Benson, Veda Robinson, Rob-inson, Maxine Coleman, and Noren Shipley. Jim Smith spent a few days visiting vis-iting his family in Salt Lake. Joann Angel is recovering from the mumps and will soon be back in school. |
