Show Navy Fighter Pilot Lost in Pacific I.t. j. g.) Douglas Raymond Cahoon, 23, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cahoon, 1479-91 h East, whose wife is Mrs. Rhoda Cutler Cahoon, 14fiO-6lh East, is missing in the Pacific. He was serving as a navy carrier-based pilot. His father is head of the detective detec-tive bureau of the Salt Lake police department. I.t. Cahoon was graduated grad-uated from East high school and attended the University of Utah. He entered the army in June, 1942, and was commissioned at Corpus Chrisli, Texas, in May 1943. He had been overseas about nine months, and holds the air medal. He was formerly an artist for Intermoun-tain Intermoun-tain theaters. Awaiting further word are his parents, wife, a sister, Vera Cahoon Ca-hoon and a brother, Glen Cahoon, all of Salt Lake City. |
