Show Resident of Oak City Dies at Age of 83 Elizabeth Eleanore Dutson Lun-dahl, Lun-dahl, age 83, .died at her home at I Oak City Tuesday, April 17. Mrs. Lundahl, a daughter of John William Dutson and Caroline Geneva Ge-neva Jenkins was born October 28, 11861 in Deseret, Millard County, U-1 U-1 tah. She was the second white i child born in Deseret. Her parents par-ents as pioneers were among the first settlers of Deseret, Fillmore, and Oak City. On December 30, 1884 she was married to John Herman Lundahl, who had just emigrated to America from Sweden. The marriage took place in Leamington, Utah. Most of her married life was spent in jOak City. In Nov., 1931, she fell : and received serious injuries and ' had since been an invalid. She was well known for her talent in needlework. need-lework. Death came after a six-day six-day illness following a stroke. Survivors include three sons and five daughters: Mrs. Joe R. Gordon, Gor-don, Mrs. Harry Johnson, Mrs. T. M. Nighturne, and William Lundahl, Lun-dahl, all of California. John Lundahl Lun-dahl of Provo, Mrs. Cecil Frew of Hooper, Fred Lundahl of Oak City, and Mrs. Daniel H. Sherwood of E-reka, E-reka, Utah. 22 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. Six grandsons grand-sons and four great-grandsons are in the service. There are three sisters and six brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Friday in the Oak City Ward Chapel, under the direction of Bishop Marvin Lovell. |
