Show Boshard Promoted Sgt. In Luzon Fighting I WITH THE 25th INFANTRY f TRO-f TRO-f PIQ LIGHTNING DIVISION ON jl.t.'ZON Private First Class, David i R. Boshard, son of Mrs. Will Boshard, Bosh-ard, Los Angeles, and husband of Mrs. Marjorie Holntan Boshard, of Delta, Utah, machine gun section squad leader of a combat unit, in I the 25t h Infant ry ( Tropic Lightning) Light-ning) Division fighting on Luzon Island in the Philippines, has been promoted to the rank of sergeant. Sgt. Boshard, who received his basic training at Camp Roberts, California, has been overseas since January 5, 11)44. He is entitled to wear the Asiatic-Pacific ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, the Philippines Philip-pines Liberation ribbon with one star and the Combat Infantryman Badge. Before entering the service, he attended the Delta high school, and was employed by the Remington Reming-ton Arms company in Salt Lake City. Sgt. Boshard has two brothers in service, Sgt. Robert Dixon Boshard Bo-shard with the Signal Corps in India In-dia and Seaman John Boshard of the Merchant Marine. He and Mrs. . Boshard have two children, Diana, three years old, and David, Jr., one and a half years old. |
