Show Topaz Holds Memorial Services for Roosevelt TOPAZ, April 16 A capacity audience of 1300 persons of Japanese Jap-anese ancestry Sunday attended a Roosevelt memorial service sponsored spon-sored by the City council, leaders of the Buddhist, 'Protestant and Catholic churches, and the local WRA administration. A large illuminated picture of the President bordered with black ribbon and a floral wreath of artificial arti-ficial flowers in the shape of a cross formed the backgroul for the service held in the civic auditorium. The program included eulogies by Mas Narahara, Council Chairman, Chair-man, Project Director L. T. Hoffman, Hoff-man, prayers by clergymen; singing sing-ing of 'America the Beautiful' by the high school glee club and a pledge of allegiance to the flag, led by Topaz Boy Scouts. School memorial services were held Friday.
