Show Sarah Ann Webb Dies After Lingering Illness Mrs. Sarah Ann Webb Cook ,67, died at her home in Deseret Sunday Sun-day morning after several months illness. She was born June 30,1876, in Fillmore, a daughter of John and Carolina Bradfield Dewsnup. She was married July 29, 1895 to Maxwell C: Webb, who died in Deseret in 1916. She was married September 26, 1942 in Salt Lake City to W. L. Cook. She is survived by her husband, W. L. Cook and the following children: J. M. Webb, Spencer Webb, Mrs. Fay Davis, of Deseret; Mrs. Alta Reeve, and Mrs. Ethel Theobald, of Hinckley; Mrs. Laura Hyatt of Roseville, California;and the following: four brothers and a sister, Mrs. Carrie Christensen, Fred, Charles and Elmer Dewsnup of Deseret. Funeral services were held Wednesday Wed-nesday at 2 p.m. in the Deseret Ward Chapel. Bishop Ralph Crafts was in charge. The opening song was "Beautiful "Beauti-ful Isle," mixed chorus; Gertrude Western, Ethel Western, Ava Bennett, Ben-nett, Evva Croft, Milden W. Scow, O. L. Dutson, Ikey Anderson and Ray Western; accompanied by Winona Dutson. Praver, Eldon Erickson; song: "Lay My Head Beneath a Rose," by Wanda Beckwith, accompanied by Lucille Stapley. Talk by George Boyack; song, "End of a Perfect Day," Ray Western, accompanied by Norma Moody; Talk, O. L. Dutson; Dut-son; Talk, Marcus Skeem; Song, "That Wonderful Mother of Mine" by Ethel Western, accompanied by Ndrma Moody. Closing prayer was by John R. Bennett. Burial was in the Deseret Cemetery Ceme-tery with Bishop William Bradfield of Leamington dedicating the grave. |
