Show Delta High This week there will be two assembly as-sembly programs. One Thursday at 2 p.m. This is an hour assembly under the direction of the 4-H winners. Dorothy and Eugene Sanford will give reports of their trips back east. Miss Gormley, county demonstrator, will also talk and give several awards. The other assembly will be at 12 a.m. Friday. Rev. Kenneth W. Wilson Wil-son a Presbyterian missionary from China, will speak to the students concerning conditions in that country. coun-try. Monday at 3 p.m., Milliard High School students are presenting their school play to the D.H.S. It is a three act comedy, "Behind the Eight Ball". This play was well received re-ceived at Fillmore last week. The game this Friday is with Milford. Milford won their first game from Hinckley last Friday. This game promises to be an interesting inter-esting one. We would all like to attend it but, due to wartime travel restrictions restric-tions the faculty of the D H.S. cannot can-not urge the students to attend nor can they act as chaperones for groups, going to that game however, how-ever, if a student brings to the principal the written consent of his parent or guardian, he will be officially of-ficially excused' from school Friday afternoon. |
