Social Security Officer Will Be in Delta May 25 Rex A. Atwood, manager of the social security board's field office at 19 W. South Temple Street, in Salt Lake City, will visit Delta on Friday, May 25, 1945. The purpose of Mt. Atwood's visit vis-it is to render assistance to persons over 65 who have worked in employment em-ployment covered by the social security se-curity act who desire to file claim for social security retirement pension; pen-sion; also to accept claims from minor children and aged wives of such persons or from the widow and children of deceased persons who were covered under the social security system. He will also be glad to give information and assistance as-sistance to any employers or other individuals who might have problems prob-lems and questions relating to the Federal Security Law. Mr. Atwood requests that anyone any-one in this community desiring to take up any of these matters with him should leave his name with the postmaster, who Willi give the names to Mr. Atwood upon his arrival. ar-rival.
