Buy War Bonds- DURING THE SEVENTH j WAR LOAN DRIVE I I We want to do all we can to help raise the necessary I amount of money in bonds for our Government and so I Make the fallowing oSSer: We will add the same amount paid in subscriptions to the Chronicle as you pay us and put the whole sum into war bonds. Thus if you pay $2.50 we will add $2:50 v to that sum and put $5.00 into bonds. If you wish two years at $4.50 we will do the same.or if you wish 5 I years at $11.00 we will still match all you pay and put it into bonds. Not Only That- We will apply YOUR subscription payment and the amount WE pay to the quota for any town or community com-munity you wish. Thus if you are living in Lynndyior wish the credit to go to Lynndyl and send us $2.50 or . any larger amount, we will add all you pay to us and credit the whole amount to Lynndyl, or any other town of your choice. No "Dunners" Just Statements We plan to send out two letters to each subscriber during the 7th War'Loan Drive. In the letter we will show your subscription on the statement, whether due I or not, and still give anyone the right to renew or ad vance their subscription up to five years. These letters will not be "dunners" but a statement of how your subscription stands at the time we send the statements state-ments out. Not Only That- We will include a business reply envelope and will pay the postage on your reply. Just put in you check, name the community or town I you want to give the credit to, and we will acknowledge ack-nowledge your payment in the Chronicle. THIS OFFER IS GOOD UNTIL JUNE 30, 1945 CHRONICLE PUBLISHING CO. I ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS NOTICE is hereby given that sealed bids will be received at the office of W. C Cole, Supervisor and Engineer, of Millard County Drainage Drain-age District Number Two at Delta, Utah, on or before the 18th day of May, 1945, at the hour of 2 o'clock p. m., and to be opened at the last mentioned time and date and heard at a public meeting of the Board of Supervisors of said Millard Mil-lard County Drainage District Number Num-ber Two, for the construction of approximately three miles of open drains requiring an excavation of approximately 48,000 cubic yards of earth, according to the plans and specifications now on file at the office of the said W. C Cole. The contract will be let for such work to the lowest responsible bidder, bid-der, but the Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Any person or persons to whom the contract may be awarded must enter into a bond with good and sufficient sureties to be approved by the Board, payable to said District Dis-trict for its use for 50 of the a-mount a-mount of the contract price conditioned con-ditioned for the faithful performance perform-ance of said contract in accordance with its provisions.
