Show HINCKLEY... Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Christensen and family moved to Tooele Monday Mon-day to make their home. The town expresses regret at losing another fine family but wishes them happiness happi-ness in their new home. Mrs. Marie Heaton returned this week from Texas for a stay with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Bishop. Marie's husband is being transferred from the camp in Texas Tex-as and if it is possible she will join him later. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Jones from Salt Lake were Hinckley visitors this week. The Hilton, Fackerall and Blake families gave a splendid family program in church Sunday evening. Poems, musical numbers and talks honored, Edison, Washington and incoln. Blaine Robinson is home now after af-ter making a recent trip to California Califor-nia and back. Bishop and Mrs. Verdell Bishop have moved in from their farm into in-to the Carl Theobald home. The elementary school held a special program on Tuesday honor-' ing the birthday of George Washington. Wash-ington. Another P. T. A. meeting and program will be held in the High school auditorium tonight (Thursday). (Thurs-day). A patriotic theme will be featured. Students of the elementary elemen-tary school will furnish numbers. E. J. Eliason of Deseret will represent repre-sent the school board and will talk on "Patriotism and the School." Musical numbers will conclude the program. A program and party honoring the outgoing Bishopric will be given giv-en in the ward chapel Tuesday evening. After an hours program a dance will be held in the high school gym. Everyone is invited to come out. Faculty members and their partners part-ners from both schools enjoyed a party at the high school Monday evening. Games were played and refreshments served to the group. The Hinckley High School basketball bas-ketball team will play Fillmore at Fillmore Friday. |
