OCR Text	Show Life-Saving Training Pays Intensive training in life-saving enabled American Merchant Seamen Sea-men of the SS Monterey to rescue 1,675 survivors of a torpedoed troop transport in the Mediterranean, according ac-cording to the War Shipping Administration.
