Show HINCKLEY . . . Mrs. Clara Stewart People who attended the genral conference in Salt Lake City from Hinckley were Pres. Harold R. Morris Mor-ris and wife, Mr. and Mrs. Don A. Bishop, Leonard Palmer and wife, M-S Roy P. Hilton, M-S Hugh Hilton, Hil-ton, M-S William J. Webb, M-S Cleo Bishop, Fernand Blake and Boyd Wright. Mrs. Beth Ross, Eva Roberts and son, David, of Ogden, and Mrs. Far-ris Far-ris Mc Laughlin and her three children chil-dren of Salt Lake City are visiting their parents, M-S Hugh Hilton. Mrs. Clara Stewart has been in Amercian Fork with her daughter, Mrs. Bud W. Pate, who is in a very serious condition with a ruptured appendix in the hospital. Tuesday morning Mrs. Florence Smith, Mary Abbott, Reed and Lyle Stewart went to American Fork to see her. Mrs. Smith will stay unfil Mrs. Pate is well on the road to recovery. Mrs. Wanda Barnes of Salt Lake is in town for a few days. Lafe Nielson took his mother to Salt Lake to live for the winter and his family will move into his mother's moth-er's home. Kay Bishop has gone back to Salt Lake for a visit. Maughn Bishop, Dean Talbot and Dean Hilton went to Meadow Monday Mon-day night to swim in the warm springs. Principal Joe Buchanan has gone into business as salesman for the U. S. Royal Cord tires and Universal Univer-sal electrical supplies at Richfield. Kenith Robins has taken the position posi-tion of principal of Hinckley high school. A good crowd of townspeople attended at-tended the Beaver and Hinckley football game at Beaver Friday. The HHS held their Harvest Ball Wednesday evening in the gymnasium. gymna-sium. It was a formal ball and Carol Moody reigned as queen, with Jay Cahoon as her best man, and Larry Love and Sylvia May Cropper Crop-per as crown bearer. Wednesday at the Hinckley high school the Maroon Key Club held their initiaion of new members and gave the assembly program. Thursday and Friday the State teachers institute will be held in i Salt Lake City. |
