Show Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Perkins Funeral services were held in the Delta Second Ward chapel on Friday Fri-day morning at 10 for Mrs. Sarah Burnetta Perkins, conducted by Bishop June Black, under the direction direc-tion of L. N. Nickle and Sons Mortuary. Mor-tuary. The opening number was a song, "Jesus, Lover of My Soul," by the trio -Norma Hannifin, Thelma Black and Deonna Black accompanied accomp-anied by Norma Wright. Prayer was given by John Adams, of Sutherland, Suther-land, followed by a violin solo, "Abide with Me," by Norma Hannifin. Hanni-fin. - The speakers were Bishop Rom Shields, of the Sugarville Ward, Bishop Earl, of Overton, Nevada, and Leo Lyman, of Delta. Other musical numbers were "Going Home," by M. Ward Moody, accompanied accom-panied by Ora Mae Bishop, "A Perfect Day," by Wanda Beckwith and "The Stranger of Galilee," by the trio. The closing prayer was offered by Charles Woodbury. The body was taken to Overton, Nevada, by Mr. Nickle, for burial in that cemetery. |
