Show - ijSixteen from One Leamington Family Are in the Service of U. S. A. Mr. and Mrs. Louis Nielson of Leamington, Ulnh have sixteen boys from their family serving in the Army and Navy. They have two sons twelve grandsons, and two sons-in-law. Grandsons . . . I.uCrnnde Nielson, GM 2 c has served .'17 months in the Navy. He lias heen in the Aleutians, lJearl Harbor, Saipan, Okinawa, and is now in Japan. Cpl. Sterling Y. Nielson has served serv-ed 42 months in the Signal Corps in the South Pacific area and New Guinea. He is now in the U. S. Cpl. Harlan E. Nielson has served ."ill months in the Mech. Artillery. He was recalled from Pearl Harbor and is now in Camp Keale, Cal. Damal Nielson, F lc, has served 18 months in the Navy. He is now stationed at Camp Burns, Cal. Pvt. Merritt Nielson has served 8 months in the Ry. Loc. Mech. Bn., and is now at Camp Claiborne, La. (They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Nielson of Leamington.) Leaming-ton.) Grandsons continued . . . S. Sgt. Richard Gunn has served 2 years in the European Theatre, England, France and Germany. He is now in the Air Corps, Radar Div. Cpl. Carl N. Gunn is in the Artillery Artil-lery and has served in England in France, Germany, and in Holland. Pvt. Gene N. Gunn has served 11 months in Saipan and Japan. He is now in the Infantry. (They are the sons of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gunn, former residents resi-dents of Lynndyyl, now living in Cji lifornin ) Edwin Stewart, S Lc, has served 3 years in the Coast Guard in Pearl Harbor. S.Sgt. Keith Stewart is in Saipan. He is in the Air Corps and is a radar ra-dar gunner on a B-2'J, and has been on 28 missions. Pvt. Victor Stewart has served 10 months in Germany. He is in the Infantry. (They are the sons of Mrs. Ruby Stewart Esklund of Sripio.) Victor has the Purple Heart. He was wounded three times, and was winner of Combat Infantryman's Medal. Gerald Brumley has served three months in Guam. He is in the Merchant Marine as a rifleman. (He is the son of Mrs. Delia Brumley Brum-ley of Salt Lake City. He is now home on leave.) Sons . . . Cpl. Lawrence Nieison has served three years in England and France in the Signal Corps. Cpl. Marlin Nielson has served 2 years in Africa and Italy. He is in the Signal Corps, now home on furlough. fur-lough. Sons-in-laws . . . Benjamin J. Stevenson, Chief 1st Class Petty Officer. He has served ttr-ee years in Avalon, Maratime Service. (He is the husband of Loraine Nielson Stevenson.) Pvt. Orin King, in the Provost Marshal, has served two years in New Orleans La. (He is the husband of Mrs. Delia King, of Salt Lake City.)
