Show Literary Club Hears Book Review Mrs. Geo. Ekins entertained the Hinckley Literary Club at her home Thursday evening. Mrs. Beulah Black gave, a book review, A Bell for Adano, by John Hersey. Lunch was served to Mrs. Norma Bishop, Mrs. Harriet Spendlove, Mrs. De Loise Robins, Mrs. Angle Pratt, Mrs. Helen Shurtliff, Mrs. Nellie Pratt, Mrs. Erma Cropper, Mrs. Lulu Crop- : per, Mrs. Margaret Jensen, Mrs. Thora Buchanan, Mrs. Betty Swensen Swen-sen and Mrs. Beulah Black. M-S Bryce Allred, from Salt Lake City, visited in Delta Sunday and Monday. H. W. Stucki returned home Sunday Sun-day evening from Salt Lake City, where he attended conference. He i reports he never saw such crowds in his life. Mrs. Geneva Pace, who has been i making her home in Salt Lake City : for the past year, is visiting in Del- : ta with her family here. |
