In Arcadia, Calif., Jockey Johnny Long-den Long-den receives the George Woolf memorial trophy from Woolf's widow as the nation's top jockey for 1951. The trophy is presented each year in honor of famed Jockey George Woolf. Selection of the winning jockey is made by the California turf writers on basis of consistency, performance, perform-ance, contribution to his profession, character, integrity and sincerity. A statue of Jockey Woolf is in the rear of picture.
