Show Injury Proves Fatal To Raymond Overson Raymond Overson, 27, of Whit-tier, Whit-tier, Cal., was fatally injured while at work Thursday, March 7. He was standing on a scaffold six feet high when it gave way and he fell. A large piece of timber struck his head. He was rushed to a hospital only two blocks away where all efforts to revive him failed, and he died fourteen hours later. Raymond lived with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Overson, now of Lynndyl, in the Sugarville ward for a number of years. He attended attend-ed Delta high school and he served serv-ed In the U. S. Navy in World War n. On his release from the navy he went to Los Angeles for employment. employ-ment. There he met and married Gladys Walte. He is survived by his parents, his wife, and twosmall children, Donald and Connie, and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters: Kirt Dverson, Milburg, Mich., Mrs. Jean rolbert, Delta, Mrs. Caroline Jac-3bs Jac-3bs and Miss Dian Overson, Stockton, Stock-ton, Utah, Ellen, Hazel, Leland and Wayne Overson, Lynndyl. Funeral services were conducted n.the Whittier ward chapel Tues-Jay Tues-Jay at 2 p. m. Mr. and Mrs. Xirt Overson came jy airline for the services, and nembers of the family here went jy car. |
