Show Pay Tribute To Callao Leader In Final Rites Tribute to the memory of Charles Char-les Ephraim Lewis, 36, well-known Callao rancher, was paid at services ser-vices conducted in Callao oh Jan. 15. Mr. Lewis died suddenly at his home Jan. 12. David C. Bagley, Callao branch president, conducted the rites, which opened with prayer by Ray Lewis, and a song, "Whispering Hope," by Mrs. Mary Nichols and Mrs. Letha Hicks. Speakers were Mrs. Hazel Faulk-enburg, Faulk-enburg, Alma Carlyle and Cyrene N. Bagley, who expressed the high regard held 'for Mr. Lewis and the appreciation of his service in his community. Other musical numbers were "The Lord Is My Shepherd," sung by Bill and Larry Behannin, accompanied ac-companied by Linda Behannin, "End of a Perfect Day," vocal solo by J. B. Stewart, and "Oh My Father," by Gertrud Tripp, Inez Tripp, David C. Bagley and Reave C. Bagley. The benediction was offered by George F. Tripp. Burial was in the cemetry at Ibapah, Mr. Lewis, birthplace, where the grave was dedicated by Marcellus Lewis. L. N. Nickle and sons mortuary directed. |
