Show Lcamiisgiwn MABEL HARDER Mr. and Mrs. Dick Nielson entertained en-tertained several friends at a party par-ty in their home last Saturday evening. ev-ening. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nielson from Lynn-dyl; Lynn-dyl; Mr. and Mrs. Glen Harder, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Grant Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Hanson, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nielson, Mr. and Mrs. Jay Quorn -berg. The evening was spent playing play-ing canasta and tripoli. Mr. and Mrs. Mureal Nielson and girls, Betty and Elsie have moved to Lynndyl. The apartment in Jeff Finlinson's formerly occupied by them has been taken by Mr. and Mrs. Jim Nielson. Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Nelson and girls have moved to Delta where they are living for the present at Oscar Warnicks. Mr. and Mrs. War-nick War-nick plan to vacation for a while in California. Josiah and Nora Nielson are happy hap-py to have their son Corporal Thel-lo Thel-lo Nielson home for an eleven day furlough. Thello is with the 145th Field Artillery at Camp Hood, Tex. Wanda Nielson was pleasantly surprised last Wednesday when her sister, Ruby Cox, and a cousin Joyce Ivers, stopped in for a short visit. They weer enroute from California Cal-ifornia to Salt Lake City. Mrs. Pearl Nelson, Mrs. Grace Fielding, Mrs. Francell Nielson and Mrs. Mabel Harder, represented the Leamington PTA at the workshop in Delta January 12th and 13th. The purpose of the workshop was to acquaint leaders With the local work-study groups. There groups will be organized in the near future fut-ure to study and discuss whatever phase of child development the members wish. Mrs. Ruth Nielson and Mrs. Nora Nielson were honored by a dinner party on their combined' birthdays, January 17th. .Guests included Phyllis Nelson and Ruth Nielson of Lynndyl; Kfee Finlinson, Pearl Nelson, Margaret McCann, Eva Bradfield, Louise Nielson, Edith Harder, Mabel Harder, Grace Field ing and Rosabelle Finlinson. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Berlin and son dropped in for a surprise visit last Saturday with- Mr. and Mrs. Rich Finlinson. Mr. Berlin is Klee's ght home a coyote. Bud turned the varmit over to the Boy Scouts to coltect the bounty. Jay Nelson has the misfortune of being laid up with a bad case of mumps. During his illness his place on the railroad is being taken tak-en by Frosty Miller from Delta. Mr. and Mrs. Joseph T. ' Finlinson Finlin-son returned Thursday from a lov ely trip that took them to San Francisco where they attended the Stockman's convention. Ruth was very lucky while attending a meet brother. They were on their way from Flagstaff, Arizona to Ogden, to get in a few days of skiing. Work was started this week on a three-act comedy, "Aunt Tillie Goes To Town" to be presented by the MIA the last of February. The cast includes, Norma Nielson, Grace Fielding, Dick Nielson, Clint Nielson Burton Hanson, Verdie Niel son, Cheryl Finlinson, June Brad-field, Brad-field, Edith Harder, Stanley Brad-field, Brad-field, and Eva Bradfield. Mr. and Mrs. Dene Dutson and son were week end guests at Leonard Leo-nard Dutson's Dene is a member of the 191st Fighter Squadron and has received his induction notice for April 1. A group of well-wrapped and enthusiastic hunters joined the rab bit hunt Saturday, January 20. Leo nard Dutson brought home the high score, but Bud McCann brou- I ing of the "Uowbelles an auxiliary auxili-ary to the Stockmen, in winning the door prize. Over five hundred ladies were present and only the one prize was given. Now she's wondering what to do with the western attire she won. They returned re-turned via Los Angeles where they visited relatives. Mrs. Margaret McCann was hostess hos-tess on January 13th to a party honoring Mrs. Rosabelle Finlinson on her birthday. A lunch of chop suey and salad with the trimmings was served..
