Show H.H.S. Mustangs Swamped By Parowan, 48 - 36 The Hinckley Mustangs were overran ov-erran by a deadshot Ram five when they met them on their home 'floor, Friday night, Jan. 19. The final score stood at 48-36. The Rams were exceptionally hot on their long shots, making more than half of their field goals from the vicinity of the half line. They led the field through out the game, starting with the opening open-ing two shots. The score by quarters quar-ters was 14-8, first; 23-12 half; 40-20, third; and 48-36, final. Only during the final quarter did Hinckley begin a drive to overtake ov-ertake the Rams and they outscor-ed outscor-ed them 16 points to 8 for the hosts. Hardy of Hinckley was high scor er of the evening with 17 to his credit. Winters of Parowan stood next with 13. Ronald Nielson of HHS played an exceptionally fine game racking up 10 points.. The Beaver Basketball team will meet the Hinckley Mustangs on the HHS home floor Friday night, Jan. 26, at 8 p. m. The Mustangs, stinging from recent defeats promise pro-mise to try and right the score onJMday. Tickets are on sale at the high school now. |
