Show Final Tribute Paid War Hero JULBoyd Hilton Funeral services were held Monday, Mon-day, May 21, in the Hinckley ward chapel to pay final respects to Lt. Boyd Hilton, whose death came as the result of a jet airplane accident ac-cident April 19 in Germany. The services were conducted by Cahoon Post 89 and Jensen Post 117, American Legion and Bishop Walter Ekins, with tribute paid to Lt. Hilton, World War II veteran with an outstanding record of courage and skill. The Hinckley choir sang the opening number, "Abide With Me" and Don A. Bishop offered the invocation. in-vocation. After Bishop Ekins made a few remarks, a trio consisting of Erma Cropper, Bertha Love and Ruth Talbot sang "In the Garden." Gar-den." Rulon T. Hinckley, Boyd's seminary sem-inary teacher, told of some experiences experi-ences he had had with Boyd. lone H. Christensen sang " God's Voice Has Softly Called Him." J. Leslie Wright, Boyd's principal and coach was another speaker, who told of Boyd's school life. Frank Bishop, American Legion district commander, comman-der, gave a brief history of Body's life in the service. A male quartet consisting of Dean Talbot, Cluff Talbot, Ladd Cropper and Blaine Spendlove, sang "The Ramparts We Watch." Parley Roper offered the benediction. benedic-tion. The body was taken to the Wasatch Wa-satch Lawn cemetery for burial Tuesday morning.
