Show II. II. S. New LYLA RAE TALBOT SENIOR HOP The Senior Hop turned out to be a great success with the seniors sen-iors pulling far ahead on the financial fin-ancial end. A turkey was raffled of and won by Mrs. Thora Petersen. Peter-sen. Everyone danced to the lovely music of Wes Barry and his orchestra. or-chestra. The assembly presented to the studentbody to advertise the Hop was also very nice and enjoyed by all the students. PLAN TRIP The Journalism class consisting of Geraldine and Helen Black Ver-lene Ver-lene Stevens, Dorothy Morris,' Shirley Shir-ley Davis, Kathryn Ekins, and Lyla Rae Talbot supervised by Mrs. Ben ny Schena are planning to attend the Journalism Meet in Provo on the 1st of December. MIA PLAYS Two plays were presented in MIA last Tuesdav nieht. One Dlav was under the direction of Mrs. Dolpha Bishop, and the other one one was in charge of Mr. D. A. Allred. Both plays were exceptionally exception-ally clever and the characters played pla-yed their parts well. BASKETBALL GAME The first practice basketball game of the season will .be played at Tintic high school Friday the 30th of November. Anyone interested inter-ested please make it a point to see this game. The boys have been practicing for some time and feel sure they have some good material mater-ial this year. Last year was a good season but this promises to be even better. |
