Show BY MARY JOHNSON Mr. and Mrs. Howard Nielson and Mr. and Mrs. J. C Trotter were Provo visitors Tuesday. The Trotters Trot-ters returned to their home in California Cal-ifornia after Thanksgiving with the Nielsons. Mr. and Mrs. Clead Nielson Alan Merrill and Mrs. Emma Nielson drove to Las Vegas Wednesday, where they enjoyed the holiday week end with Mr. and Mrs. Wil-lard Wil-lard Stewart and family. Mr. and Mrs. C E. Freer were gursts of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Stem-beck Stem-beck of Bountiful for turkey dinner. din-ner. The Freers returned home on Saturday. Mrs. Ruth Bowers and her mother moth-er drove to Tooele for the day Tuesday. Thanksgiving guests at the Herbert Her-bert Abegglen home were Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Banks and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Pargis. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Me Cardell and boys drove to Salt Lake City and Provo Thursday. Mrs. Mary Smith and Annette went to Salt Lake Citywith Mr. and Mrs. Don Lawsen and family of Scipio where they spent the week end with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Easterbrook. Mrs. Hazel Sheriff had her sister from Idaho, also Mrs. Thorma Beer of American Fork for dinner on Thursday. Miss Velda Sheriff was home from Provo. The Lile Johnson home was happy hap-py to entertain guests from California Calif-ornia for Thanksgiving and the ween end. Daughters, Clorean and Connie drove home, bringing with them Miss Mary Ellen McCave and Miss Jackie Ross. Mrs. W- E. Lang-ley Lang-ley and daughter Pat of Pasadena and Maurice Benson and Bobbie Vance were down from Provo. Mr. and Mrs. Peter Johnson were also guests of the Johnsons. Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Lile Johnson accompanied accom-panied the girls as far as Las Vegas Veg-as leturning Sunday by train. Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Whatcott were honored by having all mem- bers of their family home for dinner din-ner Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Phil Nielson and girls drove to Enterprise and enjoyed en-joyed the festive day with Mrs. Nielson's parents. On Friday the Nielsons went on to Las Vegas, where they visited the Willard Ste warts. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Abegglen and son Rex, spent Saturday and Sunday in Orem with Mr. and Mrs. DeLong Banks. z The Clyde Overson home was the scene of the wedding of their daughter, Myrna to Tony Jimineze of Milford. The marriage was performed per-formed by J. Alma Banks in the presence of members of the families fam-ilies and close friends. Mrs. Delia King, Billy and Marilyn Mari-lyn Brimley visited at the home of Bishop and Mrs. Earl Great-house Great-house . They were on their way to Leamington for the big holiday dinner. They were joined by Mr. and Mrs. Ben Stephenson, who drove up from Los Angeles to join the family for the week end. The Earl Greathouses and Mrs. Mary Nielson were dinner guests also. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Greathouse had as their guests their daughters, daugh-ters, Mrs. Kent Larsen and Mrs. George Maxwell and families for Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nielson drove to Salt Lake Sunday for the Testimonial Test-imonial of Mrs. Nielson's brother, broth-er, Evan Ashby who is leaving for a mission. Bevan Thompson went to Mil-ford Mil-ford Saturday to hunt geese with his brother Mac. He returned on Sunday with a goose. Mr. and Mrs. Grayson Roper have sold their home here to Pete Banks of Milford. They are now living in Delta. The Banks family will be moving in the .near future. |
