Show Heeeption Honors Xewlywed Couple Mr. and Mrs. Lowell A. Nielsen, whose- marriage was solemnized Sept. 27 in the Manti temple, were honored at a wedding reception Saturday night in the Delta high school gymnasium. The bride is the former Miss Rayda Little, daughter dau-ghter of Mr. and Mrs. Fera Little, of Delta. Mr. Nielson is a son of Mrs. Marie J. Nielson, of Magna. Since their wedding the young couple cou-ple made an extended honeymoon trip through Nevada and to San Francisco. In the receiving line with the newly wed pair were parents, attendants at-tendants of the bride, Mrs. Donna Little, Miss Elaine Jensen and Miss Cassie Brown, and Garn Nielson, brother of-the bridegroom, as best man. The brunette bride was lovely in a wedding gown made by her mother. Of white Skinner's satin, the gown was fashioned with a fitted bodice and long full skirt. Nylon lace insets were on the sleeves, slee-ves, and four gores of lace were ruffled on the skirt. Seed pearls were worked in around the lace and on the Queen Elizabeth collar. Her fingertip veil was held by a Juliet cap of satin, and she carried car-ried bouquets of pink roses. Sherman Little, brother of the bride, was master of ceremonies for the program. Taking part were Carol Dawn Sorenson, who sang "My Hero," Mrs. Loa Black, a read ding, Mr. and Mrs. James Nickle, duet, "Always," Ila Rae Taylor, a reading, and two yodeling songs by Mrs. LuDean Searle. The gift table was in charge of Mrs. Marjorie Riding, Mrs. Arvilla Faris and Mrs. Mary Jeffery Taking Tak-ing gifts at the door were Dennis Little, Jeanie Taylor and Deanna jettery. The serving table was presided over by Mrs. Chlora Twitchell, Mrs. Thora Wind and Mrs. Lepna Works Guests were served at small tables tab-les lit by pink candles. Assisting with the serving were Ila Rae Tay lor, Loa Belle Black, Rayola Peterson, Pet-erson, Colleen Jensen and Nila Dav is, all gowned in floor-length for-mals. for-mals. Mr. and Mrs. Nielson received best wishes from many guests, including in-cluding a large party of friends from Salt Lake City. They have now returned to Salt' Lake City where they are making their home Mr. Nielson will continue his studies stud-ies at the University of Utah, and Mrs. Nelson is employed with the state road commission, where she she has been for the past four years. |
