Show BIRDIE LOU HILTON L Deer season ended up better than it started, with most of the men . able to fill their permits by now, but only with a lot of scheming. The deer seem to be scarcer this year or just a lot smarter, because from all reports it took a lot of walking to track down the venison. Rook Club this week was held at the home of Mrs. Ivy Allred with Helen Shurtllff as hostess. Be sides 13 regular members, eleven guests were in attendance. The guests were Mrs. Puckett, Harriet ' Spendlove, Melba Nielson, Erraa Cropper, Melba Jacobsen, Annette Sandstrom, Lillian Warnick, Verna . Anderson, Winnie Wright, Betty Morris. Arvilla Swensen received I the member prize with Ruth Tal-I Tal-I bot second. Harriet Spendlove won guest prize and Verna Anderson received consolation. A delicious dinner was also served. Mr. Dillenbeck has returned to his home from the hospital in Salt Lake where he was treated for severe infection caused by a bad tooth. He is feeling much better bet-ter now and has been able to return re-turn to work. Word has been received by relatives re-latives in Hinckley that Tony Love, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Love of Tooele is critically ill. He is being given a blood transfusion transfus-ion every other day and at the last report his condition was only slightly improved. Harold Morris has moved Annie Wright to a new home next door J to his home. I Mr. and Mrs. Rebello Schena of ! Los Angeles, Cal., are guests of Mrs. Mary Schena's. Tuesday, the lesson in Relief Society was given by Clo Hilton, Clarrisa Blake, Fannie Hilton and . Nora Bishop. A splendid testimony meeting was held after the lesson. Mrs. Edith Sterner of Spring City is visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Warren Ireland. After spending the deer hunt in St. George, Carl Workman has returned re-turned to Hinckley. The M-Men and Gleaner Group had charge of the program in MIA Tuesday night. A skit of a mock fireside chat was presented. Lafe Nielson gave a short talk on the value of the proper supervision. The first year BeeHive group entertained en-tertained their mothers with a pro gram and luncheon Tuesday night in MIA. Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Cropper spent Saturday in Salt Lake City.
