Show gave their experiences. A missionary farewell was held for Elder Clead Lovell Saturday evening. A good time was enjoyed by all. Elder Lovell entered the mission home in Salt Lake City Monday, April 17. Elder Evan Lyman spent the weekend in Oak City. His home is Tt Clearfield. He will soon leave for the Southern States mission. Mr and Mrs. Blaine Coleman and children visited in Oak City lorn Prove. Also Doyle Anderson visited here. Mr and Mrs. Christian Anderson had as guests last week Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Van Setter from Salt Lake City Mr. Van Setter labored as a mission companion with Mr. Anderson some ten years ago. I Mrs Florence Jones returned to L, h'P Sundfiv visit mp- iril Oak City Mae H. Shipley Sunday evening services were given by the Lesser Priesthood boys and LDS Girls. Stake officers Mrs. Stephenson and Mrs. Dutson, Also Willis Dutson, Grant Snow and Esdras Finlinson. Mrs. Stephenson presented 19 awards to the girls and Esdras Finlinson presented 17 awards to the boys. Talks were given by Mrs. Dutson, Grant Snow, Bishop Finlinson, Faye Alldredge, Vance Finlinson, Jennie Olson, Weldon Dutson. A girls' chorus, MarGene Dutson, Afton Roper, Margaret Sheriff and LaRue Lovell sang a song. After the evening services a fire side chat was held at Elwood Lov-ell's Lov-ell's home. Returned missionaries Bruce Lovell and Dean Anderson and Mrs. Alfred Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Deon Gillen visited Oak City especially for their brother's fare, jjyjll dance. An aunt from Eureka so came. The usual Relief Society meet-g meet-g was postponed until Wednes-ly Wednes-ly due to a temple excursion on jesday. Esdras Finlinson visited Callao jinday. |
