Show LIIS Elders Free To Journey Home Elders Stanley E. Abbott, of Le-hi Le-hi and C. Aldon Johnson, of Idaho Falls, will soon begin their trip back to the U. S., according to Associated Press despatches. The two young missionaries were expelled ex-pelled from Czechoslavakia last Fri day after four weeks imprision-mnt imprision-mnt in Central Moravia. Both had served two years in the mission field and were imprisoned impris-oned for trespassing on closed territory, ter-ritory, according to earlier reports. Mr. Abbott said they were not mistreated mis-treated in prison but left alone after a thorough questioning. Mr. Abbott was born in Sutherland Suther-land 22 years ago, a son of the late Perry Abbott and Mrs. Lorena Gee Abbott. The family moved to Lehi in 1930, where the father died nearly 4 years ago. Stanley is Mrs. Abbott's son, and plans to study medicine at the U. U. after his return re-turn home. |
